Zafer Bozkurt built the Ehliyet Sınavı (Driver License) app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Zafer Bozkurt at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.
If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
About the App
Ehliyet Sınavı is an independent study app that helps users prepare for the theoretical driving license exam through practice questions, mock exams, and progress tracking. It is not affiliated with, approved by, or endorsed by the Ministry of National Education (MEB), ÖDSGM, or any other official institution. The app does not require you to create an account or sign in.
Information Collection and Use
While using our Service, the app stores certain information — such as your quiz progress, saved questions, statistics, and preferences — locally on your device. This information is retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way. You can reset it at any time from the Profile section of the app, or remove it entirely by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app.
The single exception is the optional online multiplayer mode described in the next section. If you never open that mode, no data leaves your device.
Online Multiplayer (“Meydan Okuma”)
Meydan Okuma is an optional live quiz race against other players. It is not enabled by default and is never started automatically — you have to open it and either create or join a race room. When you do, the following information is sent to and stored on Google Firebase Realtime Database, which acts as the real-time server for this feature:
- An automatically generated nickname (for example “Hızlı Şahin”). You cannot type your own name; nicknames are always generated by the app from a fixed word list, and you can regenerate yours at any time.
- The vehicle emoji you pick as an avatar.
- A random player identifier that the app generates on your device the first time it runs. It is not linked to your identity, your device's advertising identifier, or any account.
- The race room code and, for each question in that race, the option you selected and how long you took to answer — this is what produces the live scoreboard.
- Your nickname, avatar, and score totals for the daily and weekly leaderboards, and, if you choose to create a public room, the room's summary in the public lobby.
This information is visible to the other players in your race, on the daily and weekly leaderboards, and — for public rooms only — in the public lobby. It is used solely to run the race and its rankings. It does not include your real name, e-mail address, phone number, contacts, location, or any other identifying information, and it is never used for advertising or profiling.
Race data is scoped to a single room and stops being valid once that room expires. Leaderboard entries are kept in daily and weekly buckets. Because there is no account, there is nothing to delete on your side beyond clearing the app data; if you would like an entry removed from the server, contact me at the address below and I will remove it.
No Advertising and No Tracking
This app shows no advertisements. It contains no advertising or analytics SDK, it does not request or use a device advertising identifier, and it does not track you across apps or websites. On iOS, no App Tracking Transparency permission is requested, because nothing is tracked.
Log Data
The app does not use a third-party crash reporting or analytics service. When you use the online multiplayer mode, standard connection information — such as your IP address and the time of the connection — is necessarily processed by Google as part of operating the Firebase infrastructure, in accordance with Google's own privacy policy linked below.
Cookies and Identifiers
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly, and it does not use a device advertising identifier. The only identifier the app creates is the random player identifier described above, which exists solely so that the multiplayer mode can tell players apart within a race and on the leaderboard.
Service Providers
The only third-party service provider used by the app is Google Firebase (Realtime Database), which hosts the real-time server for the optional multiplayer mode. It processes the data described above on my behalf in order to run that feature, and is obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
International Data Transfer
The Firebase Realtime Database instance used by the multiplayer mode is located in the European Union (europe-west1). Google may nevertheless process and store data on servers located outside your country, including outside Türkiye. By using the multiplayer mode, you acknowledge that the data described above may be transferred to and processed in these locations in accordance with Google's privacy policy. This transfer does not occur if you do not use the multiplayer mode.
Your Rights and Choices
You can choose not to use the online multiplayer mode, in which case none of your data leaves your device. Your study progress, statistics, and preferences can be reset from the Profile section of the app, and removed completely by clearing the app data or uninstalling the app. If you would like your nickname and scores removed from the multiplayer server, or if you have questions about your rights under applicable data protection laws (such as KVKK or GDPR), you can contact me using the details below.
Security
I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Therefore, I strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
Children's Privacy
These Services are intended for a general audience preparing for a driving license exam and do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do the necessary actions.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
